Will try to do well in World T20: Afridi
T20 skipper says that any breakthroughs with current team will be significant achievement
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s T20 captain Shahid Afridi in an interview stated that the team shall try to perform well in the World T20 being played in India, reported Dunya News.
Afridi further added that the team’s progress will depend on the players’ performance, further adding that the rest of the teams in Group-2 are quite balanced and that the batsmen will have to play in the tournament with consistency.
He also said that it will be a big achievement if any significant breakthrough is achieved in the tournament with the current team.
Afridi will be playing his sixth World T20 and with 93 wickets to his name, he is the highest wicket taker in this format as well.
