Afridi signals of comeback in World T20
T20 skipper returned home after participating in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s T20 captain Shahid Afridi landed at Jinnah International Airport on Saturday after playing in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh, reported Dunya News.
While talking to the media, Afridi stated that he will make a comeback in the T20 World Cup which is going to be in India in a few days’ time.
Afridi said that he shall be staying in Karachi for two days and he will make a statement about the T20 World Cup soon.
Tight security measures were made at the airport prior to Shahid Afridi’s arrival.
Other members of the Pakistani team will return at night.
Pakistani team returned after participating in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh in which the Men in Green were only able to win 2 matches and their overall performance was disappointing.
