Batsmen's performance unsatisfying: Grant Flower
Batting coach stated that batsmen play under pressure despite attempts to change playing mentality
DHAKA (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s batting coach Grant Flower has stated that the batsmen’s performance in the ongoing Asia Cup 2016 tournament is unsatisfying, reported Dunya News.
Flower was discontented with the batsmen and stated that they seem to play under the influence of pressure. He further added that attempts have been made to make the batsmen handle the pressure but they are constantly failing to deliver during the matches.
He said that the team still needs to work quite hard despite the recent win against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Asia Cup 2016. Flower stated that irrespective of the poor performance displayed by the team in the One Days, the Pakistani side has been quite impressive in the Test format.
