Combination of junior and senior players can prove beneficial for national team.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan is considered as one of the most unpredictable teams in world cricket. Pakistan can turn any game in its favor at any time. Team Green has several players who can turn the tables on their day.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan on 7th January approved 15-man squad for World Cup 2015 that was picked by six-member selection committee chaired by Moin Khan with head coach Waqar Younis and Captain Misbah ul Haq.
Pakistani squad contains both senior and junior players. Selectors are confident that the combination of junior and senior players can prove beneficial for national team. Chief Selector Moin Khan quoted ‘’This is the best possible squad from the available resources, and the selectors believe it has the requisite talent and skill-set to recapture the World Cup Down Under after 22 years.’’
Talk about game-changers, Pakistani team has players like Shahid Afridi who can win the game single-handedly for the team. Shahid Afridi has snatched several games from opponent’s claws.
Haris Sohial is turning out to be the key player for Pakistani team thanks to his measured bowling. Sohail is a fine batsman and an economical bowler too. Pakistan is hoping that Sohail can prove useful in the absence of Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez.
Muhammad Hafeez’s aggressive and sensible batting is requirement of Pakistan’s cricket. Although Hafeez will unable to bowl in World Cup but his batting is still important.
Ahmed Shehzad is one of the most exciting players among national squad. He can rotate strike, hit fours and sixes. He is your option to bowl as a part time bowler and he is an amazing fielder too. Misbah ul Haq is the eldest player among Pakistani World Cup squad averaging more than 40 runs per innings. Although Misbah had never played international cricket on Australian soil but his experience can strengthen the middle order.
Sohaib Maqsood, who is making his comeback in the team, has the capability to turn the table and he proved his talent in the match against Sri Lanka last year when Pakistan was in all sorts if trouble and Sohaib single-handedly won the game for his team.

Sohail Khan was last played on 2011 against Zimbabwe. Thanks to his measured bowling selectors again gave him the chance to prove his mettle.
