Winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first and Hafeez, Shehzad prove the skipper Misbah right

ABU DHABI: (Web Desk) – Pakistan batting line up continues to pile up runs at their second home United Arab Emirates (UAE) against New Zealand as well. Misbahul Haq won the toss and decided to bat first at a straight batting track and Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad batted brilliantly to give Pakistan 178-run opening stand. Although Hafeez lost his wicket just 4 runs short of what could be his tenth century but Ahmed Shehzad didn’t give up and went on to score his century.

Ahmed Shehzad is still on the crease along with Azhar Ali who is batting at 21. Hafeez hit 10 boundaries for his 96 while Ahmed Shehzad has so far struck 12 boundaries for his undefeated 104.

New Zealand bowlers have had some very tough time in the desert so far as only Anderson has been able to get a wicket so far out of the six bowlers that Brandon McCullum has tried so far this morning.
