It was Pakistan's first series win over Australia in 20 years.

ABU DHABI (AP) - Pakistan beat Australia by 356 runs Monday to win the second test and complete a 2-0 whitewash in the series.

Australia was battling hard at lunch chasing a target of 603 runs, but lost three wickets in three overs at resumption of play to be bowled out for 246.

Steven Smith top-scored with 97, but he could not add to his lunchtime score and was out leg before wicket to Zulfiqar Babar in the second ball of the second session.

Left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers, claiming five for 120.

The win was Pakistan s biggest in terms of runs, beating the previous largest margin of 341 runs, achieved against India at Karachi in 2006.

It was Pakistan s first series win over Australia in 20 years. Pakistan has won five times before at home, but the last came in 1994.
