LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that young Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal is completely fit to resume his national duties.

Umar Akmal was asked to come back home from W-Indies where he was taking part in the T-20 league, after it was reported that he had a seizure on a flight to Jamaica.

It was also revealed that he had a history of problems related to epilepsy which was denied by the player and the PCB's GM sports medicine Saleem Sohail.

According to a statement by the PCB Umar Akmal has been examined thoroughly by Dr. Nadir Ali and has been declared fully fit to play cricket.

The health problems he was facing were due to lack of sleep and has been advised to take a good 6-8 hours of sleep every night.
