Sethi greets Pak women's team
PCB chief congratulates Pak women cricket team on beating Ireland and qualify for ICC WT20 final.
LAHORE (Online) - The Acting Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi has congratulated Pakistan women s team on beating Ireland by nine wickets to become the first to qualify for the final of the ICC World Twenty20 qualifiers in Dublin.
In a message to captain Sana Mir, and the team management, the PCB Chairman expressed his personal as well as the entire PCB management s delight at the rapid progress Pakistan women have made in world cricket.
"The manner in which the Pakistan team has performed, powering its way to final with a slew of emphatic wins, deserves applause and plaudits", he added.
He congratulated captain Sana Mir and all member of the squad, hoping that they would maintain similar high standards.
By reaching the final, the Pakistan team under Sana Mir also qualified for the ICC World Twenty20 event proper.
