Pakistan Super League postponed

The PCB on Friday postponed Pakistan Super League (PSL).

 

LAHORE: According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the tournament was postponed after the request of sponsors and franchisers to give more time for preparations.


The PCB stated that the new schedule for the tournament will be announced later.


It is worth mention here that the PCB had unveiled the logo for the tournament last month and the ceremony was also attended by former chief executive of International Cricket Council (ICC) Haroon Logart who is also the adviser for PSL.


The inauguration ceremony of the PSL worth $ 100 million was scheduled to be held on March 23 while the first match of the T20 tournament was scheduled to be played on March 26.


Total 23 matches were scheduled to be played in the Pakistan Super League (SPL) till April 7.
