The second ODI between South Africa and New Zealand will be played today at Kimberley.

South Africa will take on New Zealand in the second ODI today at Kimberley. Visiting New Zealand are leading the three-match series 1-0 after beating the hosts by one wicket in the first limited over encounter in Paarl. The match will start at 5:30pm (PST).

Batsman David Miller looked forward to making his recall to South Africa s ODI squad count after replacing captain AB de Villiers for the final two fixtures of the series against New Zealand.

De Villiers has been suspended for the remainder of the three-match affair after the Proteas  over-rate contravention in Paarl. His side were adjudged six overs short of their target, with the skipper pleading guilty to the offence.

The left-handed Miller will replace De Villiers in the squad for matches two and three in Kimberley and Potchefstroom on Tuesday and Friday respectively. Batsman Faf du Plessis will lead the side after vice-captain Hashim Amla opted out of the stand-in role.
