The final of the Super Eight T20 Cup was played between Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Sialkot Stallions beat Karachi Dolphins by 8 wickets to win the national T20 title for the record 3rd timeBatting first Karachi Dolphins piled up 167 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Khalid Latif was top scorer with 81 runs.Chasing 168, Sialkot Stallions lost Shakeel Ansar early but took control thereafter. Imran Nazir scored a rapid 41, before an unbroken stand of 119 at close to nine an over between captain Shoaib Malik (62*) and Haris Sohail (55*) sealed the game in the 19th over.In a twitter message, tennis star Sania Mirza congratulated her husband Shoaib Malik on winning the T20 tournament.
