Gold prices rise by Rs2,400 per tola in Pakistan

Summary Gold prices rebounded in Pakistan after a one-day pause, with the per tola rate rising by Rs2,400 to Rs424,236 as international gold prices also recorded a fresh increase.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan and the international market recorded another increase after a one-day pause, with bullion rates climbing significantly across local markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,400 per tola to reach Rs424,236. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,057, taking it to Rs363,714.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also moved higher, with per tola silver gaining Rs41 to reach Rs6,070.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $24 per ounce, pushing the global rate to $4,018 per ounce.
