ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Petroleum Division has issued a notification maintaining the existing petroleum levy on petrol, diesel and kerosene despite the latest increase in fuel prices.

According to the notification, the petroleum levy remains unchanged at Rs80 per litre on petrol, Rs70.82 per litre on high-speed diesel, and Rs20.36 per litre on kerosene.

The government has announced revised petroleum prices that will remain in effect for three days under the new daily pricing mechanism.

Under the latest revision, the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs31.05 per litre, taking the new retail price to Rs354.35 per litre.

The price of petrol has also been raised by Rs5.44 per litre, with the new rate fixed at Rs316.15 per litre.

Meanwhile, kerosene oil has become Rs34.33 per litre more expensive, increasing its price from Rs242.33 per litre to Rs276.66 per litre.

The government has recently introduced a daily petroleum pricing mechanism, under which fuel prices will now be reviewed and notified on a daily basis.
