(Web Desk) - Chinese investors are showing interest in investing in Pakistan due to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

Under a comprehensive roadmap for relocation of Chinese industries to Pakistan, partnerships will be established with the Chinese companies to move their textile, plastic, leather, medical, surgical equipment and renewable energy industries to Pakistan.

A Chinese solar panel manufacturing company will set up a solar panel assembly facility at Port Qasim, Karachi.

Xiamen Sino-Pak International Investment Company has expressed its desire to set up an electric bikes, scooters and tricycle assembling factory in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which will bring innovation to local public transportation.

In addition, China’s smart metering and energy management expert company Hexing Electrical has also shown interest in investing in Pakistan's renewable energy sector.

According to the vision of SIFC, the establishment of new factories will provide employment opportunities in the country and increase exports.
