(Web Desk) - Businessman Tahir Javed on Monday visited the Board of Investment (BoI) after taking charge of his post as special assistant to caretaker prime minister on investment.

On the occasion, Malik said he had been working on developmental projects throughout his life and would go to every extent to bring in hefty investment to Pakistan by all means.

He hoped good results would be yielded as a result of his efforts. He said Pakistan had huge potential for the foreign investment in agriculture, IT, mining and other such sectors.

“Filling the gap will be our prime responsibility. I expect the overseas Pakistanis will be investing in Pakistan. Projects of immediate nature will be initiated to fill the gap,” said the special assistant to caretaker prime minister on investment.

However, the caretaker set-up has a very limited time in power yet we will make efforts to complete the work in process within the time, he said, adding that Pakistan and the US had been enjoying exemplary ties.

Most of the investors are from the US and they are ready to invest in Pakistan, he added.
