Government to auction T bills worth 1 trillion

The government of Pakistan has set the target of 1.7 trillion for selling treasury bills and investment bonds for the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year.According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the government will auction treasury bills worth 1.25 trillion during the second quarter of current fiscal year.The government will also sale investment bond worth Rs 45 billion.Despite borrowing so much money from the market, the government will only have Rs 72 billion for its expenses because the remaining money will be spent on paying loans.
