Sale of fertilizers dipped during 2011 due to decrease in production and delay in import.

According to Top Line Research Report, shortage of fertilizer is the main cause of drop in sale. At least 43 million tones of fertilizer was purchased during first seven months of 2011, which was 4 percent lower than last year. The sale of urea and DAP decreased by 11 and 19 percent respectively.About 0.76 million ton fertilizer sold during July, which was less than 15 percent as compared with June.
