Prices of petroleum products likely decrease up to Rs 4
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In an effort to provide relief to the masses, federal government is expected to decrease the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs 4 across the country from December 16.
According to sources, there is a possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products. Petroleum products can be decreased by Rs 3 to 4 per liter. The decision regarding prices will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources further said that how much relief will be given to the people, will be based on levy and sales tax adjustment and with less increase in levy and sales tax, people can get relief of Rs 3 to 4 per liter. The prices could also remain unchanged by adjusting the levy and sales tax.
According to sources, the new prices will be applicable from December 16 to December 31.
