After the increase in the export of cotton its price went up.

After the slump for many weeks in the cotton market, the price of cotton has increased. With an increase of Rs 100 per maund the cotton price stands at Rs 5,500 per maund in Punjab and Rs 5,400 in Sindh. After trend of raise in the world market, India has given permission the export of cotton without any registration and special quota till September 30.
