Govt collects Rs424bn petroleum levy in FY21
In FY22, the government has set petroleum levy collection target of Rs 600 billion.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Government has collected highest ever taxes on petroleum products in Fiscal Year 2021.
The government has collected Rs 424 billion in FY21 in shape of petroleum levy. Government had set a target of Rs 450 billion in FY21 for petroleum levy.
Government in FY20 collected taxes on petroleum amounting to Rs 295 billion. In FY19, the Petroleum levy collection stood at Rs 206 billion.
In FY22, the government has set petroleum levy collection target of Rs 600 billion.
