ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase in the price of petroleum products by up to Rs7 per liter from March 1.

In a summary, OGRA has proposed hike in the price of petrol by Rs7 and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs6. The summary has been sent to the petroleum division. The new prices – fixed for 15 days – will be announced after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s approval.

The government had on February 15 decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products in the country. In order to provide relief to the masses, PM Imran rejected the summary of OGRA proposing an increase of Rs14.07 in petrol price.
