Rupee gains 18 paisa against USD
The greenback closed at Rs158.89 rupees
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of US Dollar fell by 18 paisa in the interbank on Tuesday against Pakistani rupee, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The greenback closed at Rs158.89 rupees on second business day of the week.
A day earlier, rupee had also gained against greenback which closed at 159.07 in the interbank market on Monday.
It is to be mentioned here that Pakistani Rupee appreciates when lesser amount of rupees are required to get one USD. On the other hand, PKR depreciates when more rupees are required to get one greenback.
