Rupee on the rise, Dollar at 3.5 month low

The fall in dollar will reduce debt burden on Pakistan by Rs350 billion.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee strengthened by 70 paisa on Thursday to push United States Dollar (USD) to 3.5 month low.

The greenback is being traded around 165 rupees on fourth business day of the week. Since August 26 dollar has fallen by Rs3.43 or two percent.

The fall in dollar will reduce debt burden on Pakistan by Rs350 billion.
