Pakistan has increased its mango pulp export during the current year.
The Horticulture Department says that an increase of around 10,000 tonne of mango pulp is expected during the current fiscal year.The Department says that the news of a decline in mango pulp export is baseless.According to the Agri-Forum Pakistan, Pakistan exports 40,000 to 50,000 tonne of mango pulp every year.The Agri-Forum says that India is not a threat to Pakistani market because Pakistani mango is superior in quality.If post harvest losses were overcome, Pakistani exports could bump up to 2.7 million tonnes, the forum added.
