Those having vehicles above 1000cc must file tax returns : Shabbar Zaidi
Final date for filing tax returns for 2018 has been extended to August 2, 2019: Zaidi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi said it is compulsory to file tax returns for those having commercial or industrial connection of electricity, house with 500 square foot area and a vehicle above 1000cc.
Zaidi said as per clause 181 of income tax ordinance 2001, all those having commercial or industrial connections of electricity must register themselves in active tax pair list. He said law bounds all those citizens having 500 square foot house or a vehicle above 1000cc to file their tax returns.
He said final date for filing tax returns for 2018 has been extended to August 2, 2019. He said all citizens must avail this opportunity in order to avoid any inconvenience.
