POL prices likely to remain unchanged
Finance minister has suggested that the new government should decide on the prices.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) recommended on Tuesday an increase in petrol and diesel prices.
The regulator recommended an increase of Rs2.70 in the price of per litre petrol while also working out an increase of Rs2.45 in the price of per litre diesel.
The price of price of kerosene oil has been recommended to be increased by Rs3.25 per litre and price of light diesel by Rs3.40 per litre.
However, the caretaker government may keep the prices unchanged after the finance minister met interim Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk and suggested that the new government should decide on the prices.
