PSO restores fuel supply to PIA

Pakistan State Oil has restored fuel supply to PIA on Tuesday.

According to PSO officials, Defence Ministry has assured the payment of all dues soon, therefore, the supply of fuel to national air line has been restored. According to PSO official, PIA consumes 6 to 7 lakh liter fuel daily. PIA has to pay RS 1.2 billion to PSO, due to which, decision of cut in fuel supply has been taken. Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has cut 50 percent fuel supply to PIA due to nonpayment of Rs 1.2 billion dues.
