Reduced interest rates have brought different items in people's affordability

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Car sales are expected to go as up as 21 percent in 2015-16 compared to those in the last year, reported Wednesday.

According to an estimate, reduced interest rate and Punjab Rozgar Scheme will add to the increased sales of around 2,17,651 cars this year.

On the other hand, three percent lesser sales are expected in June compared to the same month of last year with only 16,500 vehicles driven out of the showrooms.

Experts have said that reduced interest rates have brought different items in people’s affordability and cars are one of those.

However, lack of subsidy scheme and decrease in Rupee value can drive the total sales nine percent back in 2016-17.
