PSO to buy LNG from Shell, Gunvor
PSO has inked an agreement with Shell and Gunvor worth 2.5 billion dollars
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECCC) approved signing of the LNG Sale Purchase Agreement with Qatar Gas Operating Company for 15 years, on Wednesday in a meeting in Islamabad, chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
According to details, the Committee authorized the PSO to execute the agreement under government to government arrangement after completing the due process. Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has inked an agreement with Shell and Gunvor worth 2.5 billion dollars. According to the agreement, both of the4 companies will provide 120 cargos of LNG within 5 years while two cargos will be delivered every month. LNG will be bought from Qatar.
