Hong Kong stocks rebound after Paris-fuelled sell-off

HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong stocks bounced back strongly Tuesday after the previous day s losses that came on the back of the deadly terror attacks in Paris.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 1.38 percent, or 304.36 points, to 22,315.18.

And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.64 percent, or 23.02 points, to 3,629.98, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, jumped 1.04 percent, or 23.32 points, to 2,274.30.
