According to Asian Development Bank, Pakistan's GDP growth is expected to reach 4.5% this year

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Asian Development Bank (ADB) has on Tuesday said that decreasing prices of crude oil in the international market may help Pakistani economy to stabilize. According to ADB, Pakistan’s GDP growth is expected to reach 4.5% this year, reported Dunya News.

According to the report released by ADB, Pakistan’s GDP grew by 4.2% last year while it is expected to grow by 4.5% this year.

The report on this year says that rise in production at the big heavy industries is dependent on availability of energy while the prices of food commodities is expected to rise due to the July floods but the overall inflation is expected to remain at 5.1%.
