PCP releases over Rs 14 billion under PSDP

This amount has been released for various projects of federal ministries.
ISLAMABAD (Online): The Planning Commission of Pakistan has so far released Rs 14.508 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) against the total allocations of Rs 540 billion for the fiscal year 2013-14.
According the latest data of Planning Commission‚ out of the total allocations Rs 13.008 billion have been released for various projects of Federal Ministries‚ whereas Rs 1.5 billion have been released for Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority.
The Planning Commission has been following a proper mechanism for the release of funds.
