Increase in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets today as gold reached the highest price of Rs 31,300 in Pakistan. Gold prices on Thursday surged to Rs 31,300 per tola, up by Rs 250 whereas price of 10 grams rose to Rs 26,828, up Rs 214 in the local market, traders said. In the world market, gold price increased by $4.5 per ounce to close 18-month high at $1021.
