The meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee will be held in Islamabad today. The meeting will consider fixing subsidized price of the cotton seed at Rs 1,500 per 40kg. Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen will preside over the meeting. The meeting will also discuss giving Rs 1.7 billion guarantee to improve Telephone Industry of Pakistan besides approving the additional charges for the transportation of the imported fertilizer from Gawadar port. The committee will look into supplying imported wheat to the provinces that is lying at the Karachi Port. The meeting will also consider allowing oversees Equity investment to Pakistanis.
