Oil prices went up to the current years highest stage in the global market during last week. A buying trend was witnessed even on the last business day following the decrease in the value of US dollar and improvement in the global economy. In New York the deals of light sweet oil were made in US$73.89 for October delivery with an addition of 98 cents. The crude oil prices are up by six percent at the end of the week. The maximum price was recorded on Friday which was US$74.72. The experts opined that trend of price increase could last for several coming days.
