Gas LPG marketing companies have increased LPG price by Rs5 per kg prior to the annual budget.

According to Patron-in-Chief All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association & Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on LPG Abdul Hadi Khan, sale of LPG has doubled at local level but the local production is not being increased more than 800 tons per day while LPG price has been increased due to imbalance of supply and demand.After the recent increase, LPG will be sold at Rs 100 per kilogram in Karachi, Rs 101 per kilogram in Lahore, Rs 104 per kilogram in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and Rs 1105 per kilogram in FATA and Mansehra.
