The Urs of Madhu Lal Hussain is celebrated every year in Lahore on Saturday and Sunday at the end of March. The admirers lay cheddars and flowers on the grave and make lightening that’s why it is called Mela Chiraghan (The Lighting Festival).In some past times, this festival was celebrated in Shalamar Garden due to which it is also known as Shalamar Festival.The City District Government has announced Saturday t as local holiday.
