NAJAF (Dunya News) - The Najaf International Airport administration has suspended all flights to and from Iran indefinitely following official directives from the relevant authorities.
According to the airport administration, airlines will be informed once new instructions regarding the resumption of flights are received.
Meanwhile, Iran's Civil Aviation Organization said Baghdad International Airport had also imposed restrictions on flights operated by Iranian airlines.
The suspension of flights from Najaf to Iran is expected to affect the movement of pilgrims travelling between Iraq and Iran.
