Summary Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon and Gaza continue, killing 97 in 24 hours. Dozens more injured as strikes, counterattacks, and humanitarian crisis worsen in the region.
BEIRUT (Dunya News) - Israeli military strikes are continuing in southern Lebanon, where heavy bombardment has resulted in the killing of 97 more people and injuries to 133 others within the past 24 hours.
The situation in the region remains highly volatile as attacks intensify across multiple areas.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that since 2 March, ongoing Israeli attacks have killed a total of 2,020 people, while 6,436 others have been injured.
The continuous wave of strikes has further worsened the humanitarian situation in the region.
On the other hand, Hezbollah has also responded with attacks on Israeli forces, launching missiles and drones targeting military positions.

During these retaliatory actions, Hezbollah reportedly destroyed an Israeli tank, further escalating tensions between both sides.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out additional strikes in the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, particularly in Block 9. In central Gaza, six bodies and seven injured individuals were transferred to Al-Aqsa Hospital for treatment.
Medical sources confirmed that four of the injured are in critical condition due to the severity of their wounds. Separately, Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving one martyr and two injured individuals following another incident.
In another development, Arab media reported that a drone strike targeted tents sheltering displaced persons in southern Gaza, adding to the suffering of already displaced families. In Khan Younis, near Bani Suhaila, another attack left three people injured.
