India: congress MP slaps bank manager

Congress partys MP Manda Jagannadham slapped a bank manager on refusing to grant loan. The congress party contested elections with the slogan Congress hand, common mans hand. This slogan has been used by Andhra Pradesh MP Jagannadham with a different meaning when he lauched assault against the bank manager Ravinder on refusing to grant loan and slapped him twice. Police filed case against the MP on charges of torturing a government employee. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, on the other hand, took strong notice of the incident and directed Andhra Pradesh party chairman Vira Pamoli to explain the matter.
