Anti-Wall Street protests have been spreading across more than dozen cities of US.
Entering its fourth week, Occupy Wall Street protest keeps spreading from the financial district of New York City to other American cities, like Philadelphia and Chicago, with no signs of dying down in the foreseeable future.More than 1,000 people converged on the square in front of Philadelphia City Hall on Thursday, joining the protest to voice their concerns and dissatisfaction.Some protesters were quite eye-catching as they brought their babies with them. An Occupy Philly Family Zone was set up especially for women and children.Most of the protesters were concerned about the future of their kids given their deteriorating financial plight.Kate, mother of a one-month-old girl found it difficult to meet ends meet for the family. She was jobless and her husband just found a job in a small company after a years unemployment. They couldnt provide a stable life for the baby.A lot of things he (Obama) promised he is not able to do. Im worried about her getting a job and getting a living wage, said Kate, protester of Philadelphia.Randy and Matt brought their four-year-old son to the protest scene. Heavy burden of student loans made life tough for them as both the couple are in college.We live pretty simply, like you know we eat very simply. We dont eat out a lot and we dont have things like cable. We take a lot of public transit. You know we dont live outside our means, but it gets tough sometimes, said Randy.
