The government spokesman says protests will not affect kings popularity.

A Jordanian government spokesman has denied the reports of attack on King Abdullah in Tafilah city on June 12.The spokesman said that few people tried to reach the king to give him applications, but they were removed by the security officials.He said that King was a popular leader, and that the protests against him policies would not affect his popularity.
