(Web Desk) – Zonta Club of Paris Port-Royal-Concorde has ended a season full of actions with the great event of la Francophonie au féminin at the National Assembly.

“The feminine Francophonie” conference was the last event before the start of the academic year, and was organized under the supervision of Member of Parliament Patrice ANATO, and was in line with the various events of the centenary celebration of Zonta which occurred this year.

The event was attended among others by Tabassum Saleem along with exceptional women.

“It is important that we highlight the perspective of diversity and the richness of the feminine francophonie in various fields such as in arts, science, literature, etc, says Julienne Morisseau at the beginning of the conference, who is the President of Club Zonta Paris-Port-Royal Concorde, last Thursday 16th May in front of many guests.

This gathering and conference was highly encouraged by Member of Parliament Patrice ANATO, which underlined the stake of diversity in his intervention.

On the one hand, this event enabled to honnor Mrs Ersillia VAUDO, Director of the diversity office of the European Space Agency and winner of the Amelia Earthart scholarship of ZONTA in 1987 in Rome as well as for her actions to promote science in young women.

It also reminded the different actions led by the International Zonta Club: two million dollars are dedicated to fight against violence done to women in Nepal and Niger. In fact in this latter country, Zonta Club fights against early marriages with the help of the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) and hence helps 11,000 female teenagers with its education program.
