Several countries including Saudi Arabia celebrate Eid today

SAUDI ARABIA (Dunya News) - Several countries across the globe including Saudi Arabia are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today (Friday) with religious zeal and fervor.
Eid prayers were offered in Makkah and Madinah which was attended by millions of Muslims. Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz has congratulated the citizens of his kingdom and Muslims everywhere on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Besides this, people in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Brunei, Turkey and most parts of South Africa are observing Friday as first day of Eid.
Some parts of North America, Canada and the United Kingdom are also celebrating Eid.
However, Eid moon was not sighted in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh where the festivities will now begin on Saturday.
