(Web Desk) – A 53-year-old woman has won the second largest lottery prize in US history worth $758.7 million. The odds of winning the jackpot with all the six winning numbers are one in 292.2 million.

According to the BBC, Mavis Wanczyk of Massachusetts, a 53-year-old mother of two, bought the ticket at a petrol station.

The winner’s lucky numbers included 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 and 4.

Wanczyk who worked in a hospital told the reporters that she had already quit her job.

The biggest US Powerball jackpot was $1.6 billion, which was shared by three tickets holders in January 2016.

"The first thing I want to do is just sit back and relax," said Wanczyk, while chewing gum. "I had a pipe dream.. and it came true."

She told the press she picked the numbers for the lottery based on relatives’ birthdays. Wanczyk said of her 32-year job at a medical centre: "I ve called them and told them I will not be going back."

She added that she was just going to hide in her bed.

She was asked by the reporters if she had plans to treat herself to Wanczyk replied that she bought a new car less than a year ago and is planning on paying it off in full.

One lottery official described the woman as "your prototypical Massachusetts resident".

He added that she seems like "a hard-working individual" and "clearly she’s excited".

The business that sells the winning numbers is also awarded with prize money, which went to the Pride petrol station’s owner Bob Bolbuc. He won $50,000 which he said will be donated to a charity.

After the amount deducted for taxes Wanczyk will be taking home around $443 million. She can choose between receiving the money all at once or in yearly payments over 29 years.
