Shooting and explosions as IS attacks Manila resort
Resorts World Manila is currently on lockdown, states the Twitter handle
MANILA (Dunya News/AFP) - Gunfire was reported at a hotel and a casino resort in the Philippine capital on Friday, the operator of the complex said, and the Islamic State group quickly claimed responsibility.
"Resorts World Manila is currently on lockdown following reports of gunfire from unidentified men," the company said on its Twitter account.

Philippine Red Cross chapter for Pasay City neighbourhood stated that at least 25 people were wounded, some of them injured out of second floor-jump to escape gunfire.
“We’re in the area to verify the incident. We don’t know the casualties. It’s an ongoing operation,” a police officer with Pasay City Tactical Operations Center said.
Resorts World Manila is the largest of the casino resorts in Philippines.
Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law in Mindanao, the restive southern island as the country is fighting IS-allied groups since May.
