Summary Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed that the identity was confirmed based on DNA samples

WEB DESK (Dunya News) – It was revealed last week that the Malaysian police have confirmed a man murdered on February 13, 2016 at Kuala Lumpur International Airport as the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed that the identity was confirmed based on DNA samples obtained from his child.

The half-brother of North Korean dictator was assassinated with the deadly nerve agent VX at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

After the high profile killing, the diplomatic ties between Malaysia and North Korea reached to all-time low as both the countries expelled each other’s ambassadors while refusing to let their citizens leave.

Malaysian authorities reveal that Kim’s body has been preserved while his relatives will be given two to three weeks to claim it.

Despite of the fact that Malaysia has never directly accused North Korea of being behind the attack, there are speculations that North Korea must have orchestrated it.
