WEB DESK (Dunya News) – The Malaysian Government has on Thursday announced to cancel the visa-free entry for North Koreans - a move that will take the diplomatic relationships between the two countries to a whole new level.
The recent rift in the relationship occurred due to the last month’s assassination of Kim Jong Nam in Kuala Lumpur.
It is worth mentioning here that the North Korean leader s half-brother Kim Jong-nam was killed with VX nerve agent when attacked by two women from behind. It was reported that Kim Jong-nam was waiting for his flight home to Macau.
Malaysia’s deputy prime minister revealed that the move of scrapping the visa-free entry of North Koreans citizens was aimed to safeguarding national security.
Meanwhile, the Sourth Korean intelligence revealed that North Korea had a standing kill order targeting Kim since 2012.
