WikiLeaks exposes Prince Andrew's undiplomatic remarks

Prince Andrew insulted American intelligence, claimed that the French took kickbacks and launched a scathing attack on fraud investigators, leaked secret diplomatic cables reveal. The Queens second son was last night named as the royal whose rude behaviour shocked a US diplomat, amid intense speculation over his identity. The information was contained in a second batch of 250,000 secret US cables that have been controversially released by the WikiLeaks website. Since the leaks first began at the weekend they have triggered outrage, and have already revealed that Arab leaders urged the US to bomb Iran, that American diplomats were asked to spy on UN officials and that an unnamed British Labour minister was like a hound dog to women. It is not the first time that Prince Andrew has faced embarrassment. Earlier this year his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, was exposed by a Sunday newspaper attempting to sell access to her ex-husband. The princes comments came two years ago as he was on a trip to former soviet state Kyrgyzstan and were recorded by Washingtons ambassador to the country, Tatiana Gfoeller, who described the royal as speaking cockily at the event, with British businessmen.
