Summary Ahmed urged the Muslim community in the US to support Trump

NEW YORK (Web Desk) – A survey conducted by Dunya News shows that different communities are getting active with every passing day as United States presidential election is nearing, Monday.

Pakistan-born Saba Ahmed who heads Republican Muslim Coalition has called for less hatred towards Donald Trump and more table talks on his proposed policies so that the best is drawn out of his approach.

She said that the Pakistani community in the United States needs to become an active part of the system to show its value. She called for lobbying on Muslims’ part citing Indian and Jews in the United States as examples.

In an attempt to wash some hatred off Trump, she explained that the candidate was not against Muslims but a specific group, terrorists.

Trump has numerous times said that he enjoys good terms with Muslims, she said adding that his policies would not impact Muslims negatively if he is elected as the President of United States.

Ahmed urged the Muslim community in the US to support Trump.

President of Middle East Chamber of Commerce and democratic leader, Anwar Ali said that Hillary Clinton is not an extremist unlike Trump which is why he was endorsing her as the next president.

If Clinton succeeds President Obama, she would continue with some of his policies, Ali said. Democratic follower said that the party always eased up immigration policies which was one of the many reasons why they were supporting Clinton.

Maryland’s notable scholar Syed Mowahid Hussain doubted that US leaders would be able to curb terrorism when they couldn’t stop gun attacks in the homeland. Policies parallel with United States interests will survive no matter Republicans take the throne or Democrats, he added.
